Payment for funeral goods and services is expected prior to the services rendered, unless other arrangements have been made prior to need. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, credit cards, funeral insurance, a verifiable irrevocable insurance assignment or financing through a financial institution.

Prior to drafing any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent's survivor who is handlig the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the posession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

Estate Assignemnts Accepted Upon Approval.  

Professional Services: $1295.00

This is the basic fee that we charge every family for our professional expertise in assisting them with their preferences. It includes a proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities, and business expenses required to serve the public as a funeral home. Our charge includes but is not limited to: 24 hour availability of the staff to respond to the initial request for services, consultation with the family, administrative and clerical services, preparation of the death certificate for certification by the attending physician or coroner, necessary permits, filing of the death certificate with appropriate agencies, consultation with the clergy, cemetery or common carrier, assistance with insurance papers, and planing the funeral. There will be a charge for each service requested or required. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the cost of funeral arrangements you select. **This fee is all ready included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, forwarding & receiving remains and our cremation & funeral packages. 

Embalming: $425.00     

Post Autopsy Embalming: $550.00

Embalming is chemical process which provides temporary preservation of the body and elimiates certain health hazards. A person licensed by this state must complete this procedure. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arranements such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Receiving Remains from another Funeral Home: $ 2195.00

Also includes: Transportation from nearest shipping airport to mortuary, local permit refile for burial or cremation. Does not inlcude any other cash advance items, embalming or other funeral services or funeral merchandise. 

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home: $2495.00

Also includes: Standard embalming and sanitary care of the remains. Does not include: cash advance items, caskets, air try / combo shipping tray, post autopsy embalming or any other cash advance items or services.

IMMEDIATE BURIAL PRICE RANGE: $2200.00 - $2200.00

IMMEDIATE BURIAL with casket provided by purchaser: $2000.00

IMMEDIATE BURIAL with casket purchased at Lake Isabella Valley Mortuary $2200.00 (price does not include casket).

Alsio Included: Professional Services (see above) DOES NOT INCLUDE: REMOVAL FEES (which may include additional man on call fees, after hours fees, holiday fees etc) cash advance items, embalming, viewings, funeral ceremony, cremation process fee, urn, other merchandise or other merchandise.

Local Burial prices start at $2200.00. That includes our Basic Professional Services listed above. Does not include: Removal fees (which may include additional man on call fees, after hours fees, etc), cash advance items, embalming, viewings, funeral ceremony, casket, or other merchandise.

"Local Burials" are done at a cemetery here in the Kern River Valley.

DIRECT CREMATION: $995.00

Also Includes: Professional services, alternative container, minimum plastic urn. Does not include: Removal fees (which may include additional man on call fees, after hours fees, holiday fees, etc) cash advance items, embalming, full viewing, funeral ceremony, cremation process fee, urn, other merchandise or overweight cremation fees above 250 lbs as assessed by crematory. 

DIRECT CREMATION with ID VIEWING $1250.00

Also Includes: Same as direct cremation, plus sanitary care, use of slumber room for viewing purposes. ** PLEASE NOTE family viewing time is regulated by state due to unembalmed remains, only one viewing period is allowable. Does not include: Removal fees (which may include additional man on call fees, after hours fees, holiday fees, etc) cash advance items, embalming, full viewing, funeral ceremony, cremation process fee, urn, other merchandise or overweight cremation fees above 250 lbs as assessed by crematory.

LAKE CREMATION PACKAGE: $2595.00

Also Includes: Memorial service in our chapel or local establishment of your choice, dressing, casketing, cosmetology, memorial book, memorial folders, rental casket with personal single use liner.

We may offer many different styles and prices of caskets and alternative containers from which to select. Since many caskets that appear similar in appearance may differ greatly in quality and costruction, we offer the following oin order to assist you in making an informed decision:

PROTECTIVE: These caskets are designed by the manfacturer to resist the entrance of air, water and other outside elements. They may be constructed of varying guages of steel, copper and/ or bronze. 

NON-PROTECTIVE: These caskets are not designed by the manufactuer to resist the entrance of air, water or other outside elements. They may be constructed of metal, hardwood, veneer, or wood products covered with fabric.
